ESPN Advanced TV Demo

Working at The Band inc. I got to work on building a ad sales demo in Flash AS3 for ESPN’s Advanced Sales department that even featured some interactive TV microsites I helped design and layout for ESPN’s Summer and Winter X-Games. This demo was used as a tool to get sponsors for ESPN’s advanced TV endeavors. I also made a custom motion graphics video to help tell the story.

Architect Guy Nichols at Nichols Design Group asked us to build him a website for his company. The website is a fullscreen capable flash website that showcases over 100 images of homes he has designed and built. This is a great example of how we can help designers and other types of artist build great porfolios to showcase their work. UR23 Logo Shirt Design

Vic once again came through for this illustration and logo design for UR23. I took his logo drawing and his character drawing and put them together to create the final design that went on the 08 hoodies for UR23. The UR logo was also placed solo by itself on the back corner of the hoodie.

ESPN Winter X Games Jeep Interactive TV Ad

Once again being the creative director and designer at The Band inc. has paid off by with great projects. This time our client of two years ESPN asked us to manage, design, and produce the interactive tv advertising campaign for the sponsors of ESPN’s Winter X Games. Jeep was one of the sponsors and below is the interactive TV ad we produced for them in alliance with Jeeps creative agency Organic. What I did was look at Organics design work online for jeep and I used the branding and identity design work they had and converted it into a TV compatible Interactive Ad or commonly referred to as a Microsite. Not only did we come up with the features of the campaign working with Jeep, ESPN, and Organic I also had the honor to create the video banner ad that played on Dish Networks channel 100 which was a ESPN Mosaic that played on TV during the whole Winter X Games. When someone clicked on the banner I designed it took them into the Jeep Microsite. Gotta give props to the designers and illustrators at Organic who made these designs possible.

Amdocs Ad Buy

The Band inc brings in some great clients and Amdocs is one of them. Amdocs is the company behind yellowpages.com and is involved in a large amount of the back end management for some pretty big mobile phone companies. It was my pleasure to work on a interactive flash demo for them were I was designing a potential software tool for online ad buys for TV, mobile, and broadband ad campaigns. Round One for the UR23 Clothing Brands. These images and designs are early concepts for clothing and print related material for our various brands. Some of these designs were used and other are simply concepts and rough sketches. Some of this gear we did make and will be for sale here soon and even some of the paintings and prints of the art will be for sale as well.

I have been working as the Creative Director, Designer, Production Artist, Interactive Designer, and every other multimedia position you can name for 2.5 years now. The Band inc. is a media engagement company that deals with advanced and emerging media platforms as well as traditional ones. I work mainly on the Agency side of the business where we work with blue chip clients to develop interactive television applications that bring web like experiences to the television. Since working there I have done interactive tv design work with and for Jeep, Playstation, and Microsoft Zune via our client ESPN. Other clients I have created design work for are AT&T, Comcast, NCC, Vehix, Dish Network, The History Channel, World Fishing Network, Inspiration Networks, NCC, Crispen Porter + Bogusky, BBDO, Navy, Dicks Sporting Goods, Ford, Charter Media, and more. We also are in the Rep aggregation business where we sell Advertising Inventory, for AT&T, Charter Media, Via Media, Spot Exchange, World Fishing Network, The Smithsonian Channel HD, and others. It has been a dream experience that I feel very grateful for and has given me a once in a lifetime chance to build a wonderful portfolio and client base. I am currently still working hard with The Band inc. to this day.

UR23 Magazine

Created to see how easy it would be to make my own magazine. Articles featured MC Krossbones, Tetra Crew, Uncharted Realms, and more. It was a experiment that I may one day revisit. This blog in fact might be its replacement.
